• Has been fitting contact lenses for over 40 years.
• He was involved in many of the early contact lens trials in London.
• He is a member of the BCLA (British Contact Lens Association)
• He is the immediate past President of the ISCLS - International Society of Cotact Lens Specialists.
• He sits on the Board of the Ophthalmic Research Ethics Committee.
• He is a member of the Spectacle Makers Livery.
• He is a past Chairman of the Langbourne Ward Club.
• He is a past  Chairman of the City Of London Round Table.
• He is a past  Chairman of the City Of London 41 Club.

Hayley Wainer Bsc(Hons).M.C.Optom.

• Hayley worked at Mayday Hospital in Croydon for one year prior to joining Hawkes & Wainer
• She is a member of the British Contact Lens Association and regularly
  attends meetings and lectures.
• She is also a member of the International Society of Contact Lens
  specialists, who meet every 18months all round the world to discuss recent developments in Contact lenses and related topics.

All the optometrists at Hawkes and Wainer have a special interest in contact lenses and are regularly involved in clinical trials for the leading manufacturers.
